WISEST main impact – GESCRAP
This partner has focused on the tracking of workers´ physiological values on changing situations, such as different working shifts, variable traffic conditions, environmental parameters (noise, light, temperature, humidity), level of activity…) The result has been a better understanding of the impact of different factors upon the workers’ physiological response and the process cycle time and has triggered the development of both general and individualised programs to improve welfare in the working position.
Gescrap considers that the transfer of WISEST methodology to other plants in the group and other activities would provide benefits in terms of individual understanding of the role and stress origins.
The assessment showing that the workers are able to manage more activities preserving the welfare and physiological parameters under control has created the opportunity for them to assume some quality tasks. This will lead to quality classification improvements with important impact of product delivery to customers.
