WISEST objectives

In order to increase competitiveness of European steel companies,  WISEST project proposal is to use I4.0 technology for the application of Lean principles to the processes in which the workers are of significant importance.  This way, the performance of the industrial process and the workers welfare (that are interconnected) will improve. Preservation of tacit knowledge is a relevant outcome. So, in short, WISEST objectives are:

• Creation of a new methodology.
• Application of this methodology to improve processes, workers welfare and preserve workers tacit knowledge.
